Maternal Mental Health & IVF Support

Maternal Mental Health & IVF Support

You may have arrived here if you

Frequently become tearful and worry you'll never feel "normal" again.

Had a traumatic or unexpected birth experience.

Constantly worry about your baby's health and development, frequently doom-scrolling symptoms and/or checking for milestones.

Feel isolated and/or physically and emotionally drained after repeated IVF rounds.

Have spent years in limbo and fear time is running out.

Are questioning your faith or self-worth after multiple rounds.

However you arrived, I’m so glad you’re here.

Read on to see if my services for maternal mental health & ivf support might help you.

You might be pushing down grief and resentment as you navigate fertility treatments, riding a roller coaster of hope and disappointment. Or you might be deep in new motherhood, coping with exhaustion, anxiety or sadness while telling yourself this is just how it’s supposed to be. Perhaps you’ve always been the steady, reliable friend or sister, taking care of everyone else while feeling isolated inside. Maybe you’re spending sleepless nights googling symptoms, or keeping busy with work or routines to avoid the heaviness of it all. And yet, despite your strength, everything feels overwhelming now.

If either of those descriptions resonate with you: I've been there... you need a place where your heartache and uncertainty are met with compassion and where you can be celebrated for the multifaceted woman you are. I welcome you!

Together we’ll gently explore the patterns of thinking, feeling and behavior that keep you stuck, whether that’s the emotional toll of IVF, the mood swings of fertility medications, the weight of postpartum depression or anxiety, or the pressure to be perfect in motherhood. You’ll learn practical tools to calm intrusive thoughts, improve sleep, communicate your needs and reconnect with your partner and support system.
From this place of insight and relief, we’ll identify which areas of your life no longer align with your values and which goals feel most important now. Then we’ll design a plan to honor those priorities, whether that means continuing treatment with greater resilience, embracing rest in early motherhood, or rediscovering your identity beyond fertility and parenthood. The goal is for you to feel more in control, joyful and connected, no matter where your journey leads.

Women of color, especially Black women, experience a higher baseline level of stress because our day-to-day existence is more challenging, plain and simple. There are frequent reminders in the culture affirming how resilient and strong we are or ought to be, but you shouldn’t have to go it alone. You need someone willing to walk alongside you, wherever the path may lead. I’m honored to accompany you on the journey.
